Waste and the Circular Economy

Waste management faces complex challenges, ranging from financial and regulatory aspects to environmental and social issues. Integrating the Circular Economy requires a systemic approach that encompasses not only waste, but also water and energy flows, and interactions with ecosystems.

AIVP is a privileged witness of the ongoing changes in cities and ports all over the world. The association aims to improve the relationship between cities and ports through dialogue and cooperation. It does so to make it easier to integrate ports and urban areas, restructure economic circuits all over the world, and meet the challenges of social integration, climate change, the energy transition, growth in the cruise industry, and more. Inddigo has been a member since 2017.

The foundation supports research projects, organises conferences and workshops, and publishes studies to share best practices and breakthroughs with professionals in these sectors.

Syntec-Ingénierie is the largest federation of engineering professionals.
It represents a dynamic industry valued at €40 billion in France that employs more than 350,000 people, nearly 50% of whom are executives or engineers. Syntec-Ingénierie brings together companies in the business of providing support, conducting technical research, offering engineering or technological advisory services, and carrying out inspections and controls. Its purpose is to promote the engineering professions, act as their representative with public authorities and defend their interests. Inddigo was elected to its biodiversity and environment office in 2014 and is a member of its international commission.
